These terms define platform scope, user duties, fees, and dispute handling for the Borrow marketplace.
Platform role and scope
Borrow is an intermediary marketplace. Lending agreements are concluded directly between lender and borrower. Borrow is not a contractual party in those agreements.
Liability limitations
Borrow is not liable for item defects, delays, non-return, or collateral disputes except where mandatory law applies. Users remain fully responsible for their own actions.
User responsibilities
Users must provide accurate profile data, lawful item descriptions, and truthful condition evidence. Fraud, misuse, and unsafe listings are prohibited.
Item condition disclaimer
Item condition and suitability are user-declared. Borrow requires pre-handover and post-return photos but does not guarantee item quality or merchantability.
Fee transparency
Fees (rental, delivery, deposits, commissions) are shown before confirmation. Platform fees may be retained from completed payments as disclosed in-app.
Dispute handling
Users should resolve issues first in chat. If unresolved, either party may open a dispute with evidence. Admin decisions may include refunds, partial compensation, or account actions.
